Who are you and what do you do in your band?
i'm Scarlate, I play guitar and sing.
When/where was your band formed?
We are a brazilian death metal band, was formed in Sorocaba, in the state of São Paulo, in the middle of 2013.
Why did you choose to play Death Metal?
Because Death Metal is our favorite genre, we like to hear brutal songs and consequently, we make brutal songs haha
How do you compose your music? Does only one guy do everything or does everyone contribute?
Everyone can contribute with a lil part, Victor (Guitarist) and I, we make the music draft with the Guitar Pro, then we change something until be cool for our taste, then we pass for the bassist and the drummer, then they change something for a better performance.
Tell us about your lyrics, writing, inspiration etc.
Since our last release, we talk about morbid things, stories and evil creatures
Is there an ideology behind your band?
Nop, the only ideology is the music and the morbid thoughts, we let the listener think and reflect about the music and lyrics.
How do you see the state of Death Metal music these days in your country and in general?
We have a lot of bands, we have GREAT and BAD bands, unfortunately we have more bad than good bands, they have a poor quality, then nobody listen it, nobody takes seriously the Death Metal. But I belive in a better scene in future days here haha.
What are your long term plans as a band? What do you want to achieve?
Record an album, make tours. I just want to become a professional, survive with it.
Name an other Death Metal band from your country that everyone should hear.
Well, can I say 2 bands? haha. There's a fucking amazing band here, ESPERA XIII and, of course, WARSHIPPER.
